Steps to File Online
1. First, find your Personal ID.
You recently received this by e-mail from our office. You will find it directly below your name in the e-mail, in bold print.
2. Create a new username and password for this year by clicking here.
If you submitted your SEI online last year, you will not be able to use the same username and password.
3. Edit your profile information
This includes email address for the SEI receipt.
4. Fill out your Statement of Economic Interests online and submit.
See detailed instructions at the bottom of this page. If you need to leave the site before you finish your
statement, click “SAVE AND SUBMIT LATER” at the bottom of the form. Otherwise, you will have to start over.
The site will “time out” after 10 minutes of inactivity. If you have not saved your work, you will have to start over.
5. Receive an immediate confirmation message and e-mail receipt.
If you do not see “Your statement has been filed,” you have not submitted your SEI. You must click on “Submit My Statement”
after you sign electronically. An electronic receipt will go to the e-mail address on your profile (see #3).
You can forward this receipt to your unit of local government, if you need to provide them with proof of filing.

If you already created a username and password this year, and are coming back to this site, enter them below. If not, you need to create a new username and password first (see #2 above).
Returning users may also be asked for the Personal ID number (see #1 above).
